Barefoot Balance Hoof Care

I’m a trainee barefoot trimmer completing my certificate in Equine Hoof Care with ACEHP ( https://www.australianhooftrimmers.com/).
I’v recently returned from Tasmania where I completed a 2 week intensive training block with ACEHP and now excited to be continuing my study as I begin my journey as a barefoot trimmer.
I am located in Beulah, Victoria and now looking to take on clients in the surrounding districts.
As I complete my study I will be looking for a number of case studies that can be under my care. Case studies involve documenting, taking photo’s and sharing details with our trainers through a full hoof cycle of 10-12 months. Commitment to 4-6 weekly trims would also be required.
I am on the hunt for horses with any of the following pathologies:
- Shod horse to transition into barefoot
- Club foot
- Working in consultation with health care professionals – including x-rays
- Abscessing hoof
- Imbalanced medially / laterally hooves
- Off the track thoroughbred with chronic hoof problems
- Where first aid (boots / poultices) are required for treatment or rehab
- Diagnosed navicular syndrome
